"Adderall (amphetamine dextroamphetamine) is a prescription drug that acts as a stimulant for your central nervous system. What this means is that it increases the activity of the central nervous system and improves its function. Because of these abilities, Adderall is commonly prescribed to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as narcolepsy. Adderall is considered a schedule II controlled substance with a high potential for abuse."
